When, in the course of human Events, an Arbitrary characteristic of Discrimination denies a People of their Right to Equal treatment under the Law – That Law must be Challenged by those who suffer unfairly at the hand of its Injustice. Now is such a Time. We have entered the Age of Ages.

Charter Mission

Age requirements as a Limitation from Elected Office, in the Government of the United States, deprive young Adult Citizens of Equal Representation in our Government. Ageism against young Adults must be abolished from our Constitution.

Why Deny? Age restrictions Deny our fellow Citizens the Right to Vote for young Adults to Represent them in Office, reducing the Diversity of solutions available in Congress. Additionally, young Adults are denied an Equal Right to Vote, in Office, on behalf of our fellow Citizens. Finally, Denying a young Adult of the Right to seek an Elected Office deprives that young Adult of the Freedom to personally pursue open Participation in Civic Life.

All Adult Citizens deserve the Right to seek and, if duly Elected, hold and enjoy any Office of Honor, Trust, or Profit under the United States. Let the Vote of our many Citizens determine an Individual’s Qualification for Office. We stand for the Equality of Individual Adult Rights. We do this to promote the general Welfare of, and secure the Blessings of Liberty for, our fellow young Adults and all future Citizens at their beginning stage of Adulthood.

We call for Amending the Constitution for the United States of America to Remove Age Discrimination among Adults as a Limitation from Office, thereby ending Taxation without Representation for young Adults between the Ages of eighteen and thirty four Years.

Constitutional Amendment – The right of Citizens of the United States, who are eighteen Years of age or older, to seek the office of President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

The basis of our political system is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitutions of government.
— George Washington
